Won't Power Back On

I have a GL502VT, and last weekend it randomly just shut off while I was playing a game on it. I wasn't sure what was wrong, but I do have a bit of damage on my adapter cord(had it for MANY months never was an issue), so I hoped it was that and bought a replacement. Plugged it in and absolutely nothing happened. I didn't even get the usual charging light on the laptop and no power light either. Pressing the power button did nothing.

So I thought maybe the battery, so I bought a replacement battery. Tried it with the replacement adapter and original and same thing. No lights at all and no powering up. I'm honestly at my wits end. I've even removed the CMOS and that hasn't done anything either.

Could it be the charging port? Or something else? I'd really like to find out what's wrong.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Please check if the AC adapter connector is loose (marked in the image below: A-power cord plug / B-outlet side plug / C-NB side AC jack), or you can try connecting to different outlets. Please check if the adapter or cable is damaged. If there is any damage, please contact the ASUS service center for further information.

I don't see the image you're referring to unfortunately. As for the AC adapter, the original one did have some damage by the connector. It's been that way for so many months I didn't pay it any mind. But when this issue happened, I bought a replacement adapter that matched the original one.

I've also done 2 outlets, well 1 outlet and a surge protector. I'll see about trying a different room.
