Snowy/fuzzy screen after ifixit battery replacement

Replaced the battery with ifixit battery kit. I was extra careful throughout the entire repair with absolutely no noticeable damage to anything internal. When the watch gets powered on it shows a snowy/fuzzy picture. Watch still works and seems like touch works. Any answers as to what could be the issue?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Did you use a solvent trying to take the display off? I’m suspecting that it got between the crystal and the display fogging it

If the display is noisy (snow) that is a bad cable connection

Post a picture so we can get a better idea what you are facing.

I didn't use any solvents. I used ifixit's iopener to open the watch. I'll have to try to check the cables but nothing looks damaged from what I can see. I unfortunately can not take any pictures for a while due to not being around the watch. Thanks for the advice.

Double check all connections are fully seated. Even a mm out can cause issues.

I checked them a few times, feels like they were seated in all the way, I'll have to try again some more. I guess. Thanks

@malston make sure the contacts on the ribbons are clean as they're obviously making contact as you have an image. Is there any chance you might of pulled one of the ribbons?
