no. for starters the batteries for the Plus phones are way bigger than the batteries of their regular sized counterparts (even though within the same family the connectors are the same). you cannot use a battery for one phone model in a different model. even if there is a physical fit.

No, you can't.
iPhone 8 battery has different connector. Additionally, iPhone 6s battery is quite bigger than place for it in iPhone 8 housing.
