my dce100b got wet in a rain shower and my wife didn't know to dry it out before attempted use and pulled the trigger while it was still drenched. Is there any way to repair it now? If so what parts would I need and would it even be worth my time to try and fix it? They're about $199 for the tool only i wonder what parts would need replacing for it to work properly again?

Joseph “Trent” Vines I bet it is fixable. For now, pull the battery. Make sure that it is still working (holding power etc.) After that, time to tear it apart. Not a great video (slightly different model but should work for yours too) but it should help you to take yours apart Clean everything off and out with some high grade +90% isopropyl alcohol. The circuit board on the bottom is going to be the main focus. Post a couple of good pictures of what you find, with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see. BTW, are you blaming your wife because she did not know that you left it outside? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
