Getting at the Main Brush Motor

Block Image

Hallo, first time caller!

Original Issue, the main brush seems unable to spin, yet I believe that I can hear its drive motor spinning over-fast.

Looking to inspect the Main Brush Motor for the Deebot T9+. I was able to use the Technical Support youtube channel to get as far as removing most of the outer casing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsn7plu3...

However I can't seem to see where/how I can get a look at the motor/drive train of the main brush. Just looking to avoid disassembling the motherboard any more than I have to...

Answered! View the answer I have this problem too

Hey, thanks for the response. I guess I was just hoping that the designers had though of the main brush motor before placing a hard shell and a motherboard on top of it and that I might have missed something obvious

Appreciate your getting back to me Ronnaferd

I just replaced the main brush motor on my 920 which required removing the motherboard and the side Wheels to get access to the brush tray screws. The brush motor is attached to the tray and comes out the bottom before you can access the screws. The springs on the side Wheels are a bit tricky to get back into place but unfortunately to get that brush tray out you have to disassemble everything else.
