Is it possible to replace lcd and digitizer with one from a iPhone 3G?

if it isn't possible, could someone link a lcd and a digitizer pre assembled meant for this phone as i can't find one on ebay, and it's sold out here on ifixit

Sorry, but it won't work to use a 3G display on a 1st gen phone; the connector placements are completely different.

As far as the appropriate screen for a 1st gen iPhone, they didn't seem all that hard to find. Here's a couple.
