There are no instructions on how to open the sim card slot on this model. I just got it new and have tried everything and looked everywhere online with no success. It may be faulty.

There should be a waterproof seal over it that simply lifts up. Then the sim and memory card tray can be removed. Might be easier with a pin or a tiny flat screwdriver.
