Computer Staying at Apple screen, Fan turns off a bit after start up

Hey, I recently replaced my battery and took out a broken screen. It was working fine for a while however after a about a week it would not boot past the apple logo and I have noticed the fan turns off after about 10-15 seconds causing a lot of heat to build up. Is there anything I can do? connectors or parts I'm missing? Thank you in advanced

Are you able to boot up under diagnostics? Restart the system and press the D key to enter. Let us know what the error codes.

I am not able to boot up under diagnostics. It just freezes at the apple logo. I also don't get any response from another other commands like safe boot

Still no luck with diagnostics, or anything else for that matter

@Dylan Schulze - Well you have a sick puppy for sure. I’m thinking the I/O element within the CPU module is damaged! If you take the heat sink off I think you’ll discover it is cracked from overheating.

This would be the fourth system I’ve seen this condition in the Fn models.

@danj Well that sucks. Anyway to really repair that without buying a whole new logic board?

by

@Dylan Schulze - I would check to see if the chip is damaged. No means to replace the chip, will require new logic board.
