How do I exit recovery mode

I tried to downgrade my IPhone 3gs to iOS 4.1 from iOS 6.1.6 but realized it was a 8GB model and cannot be downgraded. Now I want to exit recovery mode. I looked up tutorials and almost all of them are self promotion for their program that you have to pay to use the service to exit recovery mode. Anyone know how? And if you are nice enough, you can give me a small tutorial to downgrade my other 3gs that's a 16GB model and can be downgraded to 4.1

Answer this question I have this problem too

I have a Mac, I can't use 3utools because I don't have a Windows computer

Considering you have a Mac, you could use a VM to run Windows and download 3utools, connect, and exit recovery mode. Comment with any further questions.

Reiboot is one that i've personally used before, although that was a few years ago now. The tool should still work for fixing this issue.
