Kindle 7 replacement part availability

Does ANYONE know where I can order a replacement headphone jack for a Kindle Fire. It measures 7" diagonally across the screen so I guess it is a 7. I can't seem to find a replacement part on-line. Not even sure if they make them. About ready to MacGyver the end of a 1/8" audio extension cord into it with some high strength epoxy. It'll be ugly but it'll work. Someone please help before I have to create this monstrosity. :)

Hi @badger62.

What is the model number of the tablet (found on the back cover)?

The best way to find parts for Kindles is by using the model number and not their model name as it leads to confusion between the different names and generations if you do as the parts are nearly unique to each tablet series.

Another option to consider is if the tablet has Bluetooth, you can connect using BT headphones (if you have a pair)
