Try replacing the board with the microphone on it. Cheap as chips and piece of cake to replace.

Farouk Menhoum, You’re not giving us much to go on.. Saying something doesn’t work, leaves us with no point of attack. Does the microphone not work in calls only, or in other situations like recording as well? Has the phone sustained damage? Drop? Liquid? All these things help in diagnosing. How to ask a good question on iFixit.
