Why can’t my wifi see other networks except mine?

My laptop is seeing other Wi-Fi networks but mine does not show. Looks like drivers are ok and everything appears to be working?

Hi,

Can other devices see your network OK e.g. mobile phone?

If not, have you checked that your network router SSID (network name) is being broadcast? Check the settings in the router.

Also what frequency is the router set for 2.4GHz, 5GHz or both?

If set for 5GHZ maybe that's why you can't see it.

Well try to emove the wifi profile, launch an admin command prompt in Windows. And delete profile name=profilename Afterward, remove the wireless adapter from Device Manager and Install the most recent wireless driver, restart, and create a fresh Wireless connection profile.
