Pixel 6a replacement screen has a green hue
Hi,
I bought my pixel 6a screen replacement kit in November, but I was really busy for two months and I was able to do it just now. So when I replaced the display, by the way, it was really easy, I get a green hue when the brightness is set to 80% or higher. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to calibrate my Pixel 6a after replacement?
Is this a good question?
Genuine or aftermarket screen? Either way I'd ask for a replacement.

Same issue for me (Pixel 6a screen purchased in November, just installed), except I'd describe the hue as yellow. It gets progressively worse from around 65% in my case. I've just contacted ifixit support with the issue; seems like a defective screen.

common issue?

I just replaced the screen on my 6a and now have the same issue as James - I get a yellow hue and it gets progressively worse from 65% onwards. Did support get back to you?

Yes, they're sending out a replacement and asked me to send back the original screen (prepaid) so they can look into it. I'm really hoping the replacement screen doesn't have the same issue...
