How to pair disk drive with MoBo.
Hello, I have recently been having trouble with my disk drive and installing. I have removed the old disk drive, but have learnt that in the factory, the drive and the motherboard, are 'married' do I need to exchange the PCB from the old drive into a replacement? Is there a way to flash the serial numbers across. I have very little clue what I'm doing. Any help would be much appreciated. T.
