No LCD backlight after replacing inductor

About a month ago I had to replace a missing inductor (L9004) on my early 2011 MacBook pro. I just got them in the mail today and successfully soldered the inductor. The screen now turns on, however now I have no backlight on the LCD. I know the screen itself isn't the issue and I'm unsure what to look for on the motherboard. For all I know I could've damaged something when I was using the heat gun. I'm still relatively new to all this stuff. If somebody could give me some tips on what to look for or test that would be great!

Answer this question I have this problem too

your problem is more than likely that your backlight cable was damaged during the process of replacing said part

I had the display removed from the laptop when I was doing the repair so that eliminates the display cable. Do you have any other ideas?
