Sanyo DP32648 Backlight Failure a few seconds after startup

I was using the tv when the screen suddenly went black. Tv still has sound, and when using a flashlight I can see colors in the screen from the video. When turning the tv on, the backlight comes on and the screen shows the selected input, then the screen goes black.
