Insignia 60" Back Light repair NS--55DF710NA21

I was handed down a used Insignia. The TV is coming online, but has a black screen.
After research, I confirmed that the image is there, but the backlight LEDs need replacement.

After reaching out to BestBuy (Insignia is their brand) I found out that I can't get the replacement parts from them, and Insignis isn't selling an LED kit anywhere for this model.

My question is, can I buy any generic LED like for a 60" tv and replace the parts?
logically it should not be an issue, but I want to be sure.

I'd love to get your insights.
Thank you in advance!

Valentinsdag Melik, No, unfortunately you can’t just use any LED strips, because they’re not designed for your backlight driver circuitry. If you go on eBay there’s a plethora of backlight kits for the Insignia. Just search for “insignia tv backlight strips”. Even better if you include the exact model number of your TV to narrow down the search.

Note! Don’t go for the first and cheapest. Do some research, read feedback and it’s good to check how many the seller has sold already. Higher sold numbers alongside high positive feedback is a good sign.

Thank you mate!

Ebay is oddly the only place where I'm seeing that model number parts showing up! Finally!

Ordering a set right now!
