@swedishdelluser If the computer will not take a charge (as in charge the battery), check the output of the charger with a DMM (digital multimeter). If the output voltage is correct, the first suspect is always a bad battery.
Changing a battery isn’t a very time consuming thing (unless it’s a ~2018 MacBook Pro Touch Bar), and the batteries aren’t crazy expensive (usually). Sweden has some good suppliers of batteries, the one I recommend (that I personally use since I can’t get batteries from iFixit because of shipping issues) is batteriexperten.com. I’m located in Norway, and I get the order in 2-3 days from placing the purchase. NB! I haven’t checked if the battery for your model is in stock, as I’d need the exact info on the battery.
