in the W11 that tick box is not there

Im trying to get that info - have another question

Also found another issue with the windows 11. If I go into C:Windows/System32 , there is an app called NETPLWIZ

In my W10 PCs, this app allows me to untick “users must enter a password to use this computer” -  So I untick and that means when it wakes up (WLAN) it takes me straight to the desktop screen. However in the W11 that tick box is not there so we have to sign in password every morning. This is no good. These PCs don’t have keyboards and mouse/ they are just for display purposes. I’ve tried everything and I cannot get around it. Hopefully you  can have a try with your PCs and find a way ?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@monty_a2, If that option is missing from netplwiz, go to Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options. Then turn for the “For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device”.

Relaunch netplwiz and you should have it ;)

That is an answer where it doesn't make sense but then when you go to do it, it just works.
