Hi,

Here's a maintenance and service guide, that will help you to replace the hinges. Whilst it is not for your exact model, HP still links to it on the support page for your model.

The specifications for your model show that the LCD is a HD screen. It doesn't specify whether it is a touchscreen or a non touchscreen.

Given this there are two options to choose from in the guide as to how to remove/replace the hinges and what their part number(s) are to find replacements:

  • If the screen is a non touchscreen, go to p.57 to view the procedure to remove the LCD panel. At p.60 the hinges are being removed. The part number for the hinges, left and right (including the screw covers) is 809297-001. Search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best. This part number has been verified as applicable to your model using the HP PartSurfer website.
  • If the screen is a touchscreen, go to p.62 to view the procedure to remove the LCD panel. At p.65, the hinges are being removed. The part number for the hinges, left and right (including the screw covers) is 809299-001. Search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.
