Most likely the drive belt for the brushes is broken or the bearings in each end of the roller drum are seized.

Reviewed sidebar questions? There may be a belt drive, damaged or broken from a jam. A full parts diagram would help you determine if a belt drive is used or motor. If motor driven, checking for damage for overloading may require a multimeter to check for voltage to the motor.
