Power switch replacement for studio monitor

Power switch broke on studio monitor. Presonus Eris E4.5.

I cannot locate exact replacement parts, Presonus has been no help. I am wondering if someone could show me where to find this? The exact part would be nice, but anything that works is just as good for me.

Thanks for any help 🫠

This looks to be a standard SPST round rocker switch that should be available from Digikey or Mouser. The key will be its size and mounting method. Your best bet is to remove the existing one so you can measure it and compare to similar looking switches at the vendors mentioned above. The electrical characteristics are likely to be stamped on the switch body.

I have repaired my E3.5 speaker power switch and did a Youtube video with a couple of links to switches that can be used. I think the E4.5 speakers use the same switch but you may want to check the data sheet to confirm spec

Hey beamer, I watched your video and it was very well done. I have pretty much followed every step of it but have still had no success of regaining power to them. How exactly do the wires line up on the rocker switch? Maybe I had hooked those up wrong but I did not mar them properly like you had mentioned because I took mine apart a few months ago. Any further info would be greatly appreciated. Ty

Sorry only just seen this post, looking at the image in the video the red wires are in line (1 at the top and the other below on the same side of the switch and the blue's in line on the other side of the switch. I wouldn't of thought it would make a difference which is at the top and which is at the bottom but if it does there aren't many combinations to try. If you don't have any luck in either position it could be your issues is with power and not the switch itself.

Thanks for the helpful post as my E4.5 power switch had also failed and needs replacement. Can you tell me what the cut-out diameter for the switch? Is it the usual 20mm or smaller? Thanks
