Front Glass Replacement Only

Would like to know if the glass only can be changed instead of the whole LCD? If so what is the difficulty level and skill needed?

robjr that would be a 5/5 difficulty, if you have never done this before. First off you have to separate the glass etc. from the actual display without ruining the display. For that you need a heatsource (hotplate, heatgun etc.) a separating wire very thin and hard wire, UV loca loca glue remover, and the tools needed to disassemble our phone. Then you need to have UV LOCA glue to re-adhere the screen, of course you will need a UV source, a vacuum source ( to remove any bubbles etc.) and probably multiple other things that I am forgetting.

It can be done but it is not economical for a single screen. The cost for all of this will exceed the cost of a pre assembled screen multiple times. Also, the success rate is relatively low for the first couple of times. If you want to go ahead and do this, there are plenty of YT videos that show you how to do it. It does not have to be model specific since essentially they all changes in pretty much the same way. there are multiple guides on here https://www.ifixit.com/Search?doctype=gu... that might be of interest to you.
