My freezer is dead

I replaced the starter switch two years ago when I bought it, problem now is you plug it in and it doesn't make any noise, I unplugged it 24 hours hoping to restart it and plugged it in with no response. Is there a fuse?

Hi,

What is the make and model number of the freezer?

If there is a light in the freezer does it turn on when the door is opened?

If there is a light and it doesn't turn on have you checked that the wall power outlet that the freezer is connected to is working?

Normally, most all appliances have a fuse. It is a matter of getting out your NCV or meter and tracing the power into the unit. It could be the fuse, or a bad spade lug connector, or a dead compressor.
