I have the same problem but for me when I put off my house light I can see the images/Video on the screen and also sound

@rash16 this "I can see the images/Video on the screen and also sound" sounds like a backlight issue. Let us know the exact make and model of your display. It is possible that this is a power board issues or a backlight issue (CCFL/LED? will depend on the model of the display)
