Where is a good place to buy logic boards for cheap

I refurbish iPhones as a side thing and I need a place to buy logic boards as 90% of the phones I get are iCloud locked I have tried alie express but the logic boards are garbage and eBay seems overpriced most of the time is there any better place to buy iPhone logic boards

Usually cheep logicboards aren’t really a thing but cheep devices are!

The boards can be found in devices that seem to be badly damaged ,eg cracked back and broken screen

Aslong as you ask if the device shows some signs of life(fully boots)and doesn’t have a iCloud you should be able to get a couple good boards if you are careful

You can also go down the route of micro soldering and board repairs,I do this and you can get some really nice boards out of it but microsoldering isn’t for everyone due to its difficulty

do u happen to know a place where i can buy very damaged phones i look for parts-only phones on ebay and I usually don't have much luck

I can only confirm what @hellomacos is saying about parts phones. My usual go-to is job lot auctions (if I can get them for cheap), but I rarely buy those off eBay, because shipping + import duties + taxes makes it very expensive, even if the lot is cheap. I use Norwegian online marketplaces mostly.

Micro soldering / board level repairs can be tricky to get started with, but it’s an invaluable experience to have! You do need the right equipment though, an SMD rework station. You don’t need the super expensive stuff, but you don’t want the bottom dollar ones either. Mid range has done well for me, in my repairs. Just make sure the temperature control and airflow is accurate.

As @geirandersen has said ,eBay is probably your best bet for faults devices

Local market places like Gum tree and Craig’s list can be used but I usually stay away from them if I want things that are definitely unlocked from iCloud as it’s hard to get a refund if things don’t go to plan:-)
