Robert Hutchens, you’re not giving us a whole lot to go on here.. The more information you provide, the easier it is to help. How to ask good questions on iFixit

Is the belt slipping on the pulley, or is the pulley slipping on the shaft? If the belt is slipping on the pulley, you need to replace the belt (unless there’s a tensioner in there) because the belts are known as wear parts. They expand and/or lose their tension.
