@truditennis we would need to know what model your Toshiba TV is. Also, it will help if we can see what your screen shows you. Post some pictures of it with your QUESTION. Adding images to an existing question If it has a solid white vertical band, then the cause is most often the panel. It could be an issue with the LED driver board connections to the panel. You will have to check on those. This is an example of what you would have to check on for corrosion etc.
