iPod nano 7th generation battery percentage glitches when dying
it will go from 5% to 25% for a few minutes and then back to 5%. does someone know what could the problem be?
(it doesn't stay at 5% or 25% all of the time just using those numbers as examples)
i just noticed it only glitches after saying connect to power and goes to 20-30% for 30 secs-1 minute
i have had problems with this same device before.
Is this a good question?

I have 13 7G Nanos. The battery indicator on several of them is totally unreliable to the point of indicating almost no power remaining and then supplying power for several more hours. This isn't a universal problem but it is annoying. Unless your Nano is shutting down after a very short time, just ignore the battery indicator. If you're truly getting shortchanged on the power level, have the battery replaced. It will cost you around 60 bucks if you don't have the skills to do it yourself (I don't). The new battery will probably outlast the practical future of the player. (By way of comparison, a new Nano 7g if you can find one will run you a couple of hundred dollars.)
