Type of joysticks, are these hall effect or potentiometer?

I have no issue with this controller. It has been really great for me. I am playing Hollow Knight via bluetooth connection and steam on Windows PC. I haven't noticed any latency and I feel like this would definitely be a game where I would feel it. Just wondering about the Joysticks. I was hoping iFixit would do a tear down and we could see if the joysticks are hall effect or potentiometer?

I did my own teardown, and while I can't confirm if the analog sticks are similar to the ALPS brand in an Xbox controller, they're definitely not Hall Effect. They're green potentiometers and friction-less mechanical sticks. Interestingly, the sticks are part of their own board and can be isolated from the main mother board, so a mod may be possible with some probing.
