Fan clocking, backlight on, no boot

I have a non-oled switch that when the power button is pushed the fan overclocks, the backlight turns on, and the switch does not display anything. It will also shut off after about 15 or so seconds. I have tried a "hard reset" to no avail.

@ajdecker what do you mean by "the fan overclocks,"

by

@oldturkey03 it’s really, really, abnormally loud. Like trying to push out heat that is not present in a cold system.

@ajdecker have you had a chance to open it up yet to check for any kind of damage? Use these guides Nintendo Switch to work on it. Once open, take a couple of good clear pictures and post those with your QUESTION. You need to edit it and use this guide Adding images to an existing question

@oldturkey03 I did have it open for about an hour swapping one main board into another case. I didn't see anything abnormally wrong, but I'm an inexperienced noob trying to learn. Let me get some pics. I appreciate you, oldturkey03!

@ajdecker, so you're saying you swapped the motherboard into a different chassis, is that right? What were the results? Did it work correctly? That information would help; we can focus on the motherboard if the issue followed it, or eliminate it if it worked in the other chassis.
