Hi @mohater

The impurities in the water causes corrosion and provides circuit paths for the electricity which were not in the headphone's operating design and could damage the components. The corrosion starts immediately and is ongoing until it is completely cleaned away.

Given that the ifixit AirPods Pro guide has a 0 / 10 repairability rating there's not much point in trying to fix them.

Out of interest you can follow the AirPods Pro Teardown guide to see what's inside but if anything is damaged it won't be able to be repaired.
