Lost bracket on iPhone 11 sim card reader

I lost the grounding bracket (circled in red) on the top of the iphone 11 sim card reader. Ive also not got the bracket that screws in on top of the motherboard to the Sim reader. (Red Line)

Now it seems im not getting any service. Is it possible that the bracket is part of the aerial and is not connecting now?

Is this the grounding bracket (Step 23), or the connector bracket (Step 25)?

Ive edited the post, im missing a grounding bracket AND the bracket from the board to the sim reader. The second one is a flat bracket that covers the simreader flex cable connector.

The bottom connector on the right doesn't look too healthy either. Part looks bent on the top.

@strongbow Which one do you mean exactly?

PS : The phone is picking up the physical sim and eSim NETWORK PROVIDER name in the General - About menu. But the network name is XXX 51.0 for both physical and eSim, and network shows unavailable.

@rdwins on the pic there is two FPC connectors for the screen to connect to. The bottom one.

@rdwins, you can get those missing parts through Amazon, eBay or AliExpress, among others. Do a search for "iPhone 11 small parts" and you'll come up with plenty of options; just find the one that works for you. Here's one of the first ones that came up for me; it should have your missing parts.

Amazon.com: Inner Parts Replacement Kits for iPhone 11, Including Internal Bracket Replacement Parts, Full Screw Set and Repair Tool Kit (for iPhone 11) : Cell Phones & Accessories

Edit: I think the part @strongbow is referring to is that little pin on the top side of the connector on the right. I've added a picture with an arrow pointing to the part that looks misaligned or bent.

Thanks! If I purchase these parts would these 2x brackets have anything to do with the service?

@jmehnert Its both step 23 and 25 brackets. (iPhone 11 SIM Card Reader Replacement)

@rdwins, I don't think those missing parts are the cause of your service issue, to be honest. Your cell phone reception is provided through the lightning port assembly; that large connector right next to the SIM card reader and possibly the smaller one right next to it. Flip those connectors over and check them carefully with a magnifying glass for any bent or broken pins; those wide ones are unfortunately all too easy to damage trying to get them attached if they aren't lined up just right.

The metal plate that goes over the connectors is mainly just to secure them so they don't work loose under normal usage, so I doubt it plays any part in signal reception. The other one is a grounding pin; there are many others in the case so the loss of one shouldn't be catastrophic and cause signal loss.

What were you doing to the phone that you had it open in the first place?
