Why isn't my PS3 reading disks?

I've made a video of what happens when I put a disk in. Basically it spins, slows down, speeds up again, and so on until it eventually stops. The game never shows up on the "game" menu (any game, not just the one in the video). All I've tried so far is cleaning the laser lens thing and removing all the dust I could, and neither made a difference. I don't know what else to do now. I've tried searching for the answer to this question, but couldn't be sure any of the answers I found applied to my situation.
