GE Refrigerator Error code re ad 00 05 00 10 91 4d

After opening our ice-maker to clear a clog this error showed up. I cannot find info on it anywhere. The ice-maker and water dispenser are no longer operating, this code is just flashing over and over. It flashes - re ad, 00 05, 00 10, 91 4d. Any help would be appreciated. Model #GFD28GMLFES. Thanks

Hi,

Here's the mini manual for the refrigerator, that may help.

The first two codes indicate the following:

00 05 = Electronic Deli Pan Thermistor reading out of range

00 10 = FZ Icemaker Thermistor reading out of range. (FZ = freezer)

There is no listing for the last code you posted i.e. 91 4d.

Have you checked that any wiring harnesses that you may have disconnected when fixing the ice maker have been plugged back in correctly?

If you didn't unplug anything, did you disconnect the power to the refrigerator before fixing the ice maker?

If not, try disconnecting the power to the refrigerator for about 5 minutes and check if it now works OK. You could also try running the diagnostics and check what they show to see if you get the same results.

Just wondering that if the power hadn't been disconnected whether some setting in the control board may have become corrupted for some reason therefore it shows the unusual error code.

Turning off the power or running the diagnostics would clear any corruption as it will reset all the boards.
