right speaker broken? all coreaudio is played through the left speaker

yesterday my right speaker suddenly stopped working and all the audio is being played through the left speaker (L and R channels, checked for it with audio midi setup utility app). restarting PRAM, reseting coreaudio with terminal didn't help. does it mean my right speaker is just dead?..

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi

It could be a bad speaker like you said but there are something things you can do to confirm this

Check the balance in your sound settings, try playing something and sliding the sider for left and right about

Try reseating the speaker connector

(Here’s a guide MacBook Air 13" Retina Display 2019 Right Speaker Replacement)

Make sure there is no metal debris on the speaker itself or the cone or membrane

If none of these things work the speaker most likely needs replacing

Hopefully this helps

Any questions please ask

Thanks:-)
