Dry cleaners should know otherwise try contacting Patagonia. Another option is considering the various solvents like glue-be-gone, alcohol, acetone, etc. The risk of incorrect solvent use may be staining, dissolving material, and oily residue.

Isopropyl Alcohol works great. I would not use any Petroleum based products like Goo Gone, the oil will stain.

Using Isopropyl Alcohol, a clean rag, a little muscle and patience you can remove adhesive residue. If it is from Duct Tape be prepared to put some effort into it, but you can remove that adhesive as well.

Use a rubber eraser tool used for removing rubber cement. It will grab onto the adhesive and pull it off. It may take a bit of time.
