Device is unable to connect to my iPad by way of the app

So, I found myself with a Brother MFC-J430W Printer after I saw it as it was about to be ditched, and saw some use out of it. However, recently, I found out that the official Brother iPrint&Scan app won’t connect to the device if I go even a single day without using the device. Here’s what has been done:

The device won’t let me connect it to WiFi because I can’t get past the part where I enter the password. Which isn’t really needed, because it’s connected to the local network on my iPad.

There was also an option to turn the Privacy Separator off on the router, but I’m not experienced in the ways of messing with routers.

So my solution was to unplug the device, plug it back in, and reconnect my iPad to the device. That’s cool and all, except that doesn’t fix the problem.

What else is there to do to try and solve this problem that I have?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I would if I were you got to the driver support page for the printer under updates and apply the latest firmware to see if that might help?
