Replacing Apple Watch Screen & Force Touch Sensor

Hi - I’ve tried once, and the screen would not adhere permanently. Does anyone have advice on the best steps to ensure the screen stays adhered? I cleaned all surfaces well with alcohol before and it still did not stay adhered. I see there are two adhesive gaskets included with the kit. Should I try to use one - first before the force touch sensor, on the Watch body, then the FT sensor, then another adhesive on top of that? Not sure if this will add too much thickness.

Any other suggestions are welcomed. I have another Ft sensor arriving today in the mail and want to get it right this time.

Thanks

Thanks for the response but this doesn’t answer the question I asked. I’ve watched all the ifixit videos already and followed the proper steps. The screen won’t adhere. And, I’m not the only one experiencing this.

My question was why they included TWO extra gaskets, and it it’s possible / recommended to use one first before the FT sensor and then another after the sensor - to help ensure the screen doesn’t pop off again.

There are two adhesives, they go either side of the force touch gasket. One sticks the gasket to the watch and one sticks the screen to the gasket. Don’t worry about thicknesses.
