Christmas morning I got my Ipod and started playing it. Then I forgot my password. I got it disabled forever for keep trying a wrong password. How do I fix it and get into my Ipod?
EDIT - assume if it was Xmas present then its the 4th gen unit

Emma Hare, here is my answer from a similar question "You can unlock it putting the device into DFU mode and then restore it with iTunes, BUT this will erase all data on your iPod. Here is an excellent description how to place your iPod in DFU mode. Hope this helps. If not, let us know and let us know what computer OS you are using." Of course you should probably just restore it from the computer that you use to sync it...Good Luck
