Why is my 2011 Jeep Compass have a no crank no start issue?
I have an issue with my 2011 Jeep Compass having no crank and no start after running for a period of time. When I go to restart the car the dash lights turn on but that is all that turns on. We have changed the relay and fixed the wire that was corroded by the front diver side tire about 6 months ago. For a while there was different codes showing up on the code reader but now nothing. My next guess is maybe the main computer needs to be reprogramed but not sure. So please if anyone has advice it would be much appreciated. Thanks

A no crank (no starter sounds), no start may be two issues. No starter sounds may be a factory or aftermarket security problem preventing power to the starter (and engine computer), main power issue (battery, battery cables and their connections) or worn out starter. A no start problem with starter turning the engine but engine not firing up may be a factory/aftermarket security issue, fuel or injector problem. Expert mechanics can diagnose these problems but many are not and simply replace parts in hopes of fixing the problem(s). You might get better help from Jeep Compass forums with members more experienced and possibly knowledgeable about their Jeeps.
