Game Boy Advance starting up in black and white

I Bought a modded GBA, and it was working fine, but the screen was miss placed, so I opened it and put the screen on the right position. When I tested with the gba still open it was working fine, but after closing it, the screen now has no colors, everything else works just fine, it's only the screen that is now on black and white. I believe it's a IPS V3 screen. I tried re-opening, and checking for burned components, broken cables, but nothing.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Try reopening it if there are any ribbon cables make sure they’re in all the way

I had the same issue recently and learned how to fix it by luck. Hold your finger over the touch sensor that changes brightness and then hold either start or select, it may take a few seconds but the color will turn back on. It can also be done again to make it black and white again. Sometimes I have to try it a couple times too, but it always works for me. Hope this helps😸
