Hey this is most commonly a battery issue.

If you left it discharged or did not use it for a while, it is possible that the battery dropped below a threshold voltage. What happens than is the BMS(Battery management system) can prevent the battery from charging as it has dropped below what's considered a safe level.

This essentially cuts off the battery from your device, resulting in the symptoms above. Your device will work when plugged in and will commonly show full battery when trying to charge as there will be no battery to charge.

Is there anyway to reset the battery management system to allow it to charge again?

@izaac adamson Unfortunately the only way it can work is if the battery is over the certain threshold voltage.

To charge a battery with voltage this low you would typically use a lab bench power supply. Other makeshift ways are also possible, but its definitely not as safe nor as good as replacing the battery.

Essentially the easiest and safest repair in this case is just a plain battery replacement.

Good luck !

That’s normal, my Bluetooth headphones (Sony) do the same thing. I don’t know why but I think it’s supposed to be that way.

Exact same issue here. Replaced battery and verified it was fully charged. Also replaced charging cord. Speaker shows battery fully charged. A few seconds after unplugging the AC power cord, the speaker says battery low and shuts off. Very frustrating!!!

I cannot answer this problem because I am having the same but someone replacing battery due to it reaching a low voltage threshold, I do not see how that be, if device (mine) was always plugged when bars was 1 left. After 2 days, I unplugg and it says battery low and system turns off ...I keep charge cord plug and all is fine ... any other thought up suggestions but make sure, this answer is NOT a guess, and you have good knowledge instead of answering to be smart, I need a sincere solution
