ifixit replacement battery won’t charge MacBook Air 13” retina 2019

I just installed a replacement ifixit battery on my MacBook Air. When I connect the battery cable a light comes on, on the logic board, but the laptop is still dead and won’t turn on or charge. Hopefully one of you guys can point me in the right direction here. Thanks

Hi Dan, thank you for your reply. I did try to reset the SMC but my computer is still unresponsive

@danal - At this point you'll need to get a USB-C power meter to see if the system is even taking power or locate someone with deeper skills to check the logic boards power rails.
