I went to turn my Wii on and the entire screen is green.

I pressed the Wii remote it does the indication that I press the A button and the usual sounds it makes when you're on the main screen are there but everything is green.

What is the best way to tackle this problem ?

How is the Wii plugged into the TV? Composite, component, or HDMI?

by

@andrewsawesome The Wii doesn't have an HDMI port.

by

@guardian10 There is an adapter called Wii2HDMI that some people use.

I use the standard AV cable that comes with the Wii so basically I use the one that has the red, yellow, and white color coded cables

Everything's all good now I found out that if you unplug the AV cable from the consulate itself as well as unplug the power cable from the outlet and just let it be for a while in my case I let be for an entire weekend I checked on it this Monday I reconnected everything and sure enough the green screen issue was gone.

So my advice is disconnect the AV cable from the unit and disconnect the power from the outlet and let it be for the time I did or a little bit longer and the problem should go away.

This sounds like an issue with capacitors. Touch back if you want to discuss the issue again.
