Display gone red along with dead pixels and flickering.

My display has turned red. The lower part of the screen is flickering at a very high rate. Also, there is a patch of dead pixels on the left bottom edge of the screen. How do I fix it??

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

RANSOM just to verify, your display is a Dell E2310H? Post some pictures with your QUESTION of what this all looks like. Right now it sounds like a bad panel but we'll have to see. Adding images to an existing question

Hi

I usually work on apple products but I can try and help you with this

Here’s what to try:

Try plugging it in to a external monitor and seeing if it does the same thing if it does it will need to be further tested ,however if the external monitor looks normal you may need to replace your laptops screen

If you can provide me with photos I will give me a better idea of the issue but it’s most likely what o talked about above

Thanks:-)

Well I am not an expert on this but this might help you.

  1. Turn off your monitor.
  2. Get yourself a damp cloth so that you won't scratch the screen.
  3. Apply pressure to the area where the stuck pixel
  4. While applying pressure, turn on your computer and screen.
  5. Remove pressure, and the stuck pixel should be gone
