Is it possible to replace the lenses?

I dented one of my lenses and my headset is out of warranty. Can I replace one of them?

Gabriel Costa yes, it can be done but we need to know what you mean by "dented one of my lenses". Did you dent the lens or the eye tube. Post some good pictures of the damaged part etc. with your Question. That way we can see what you see. Use these guides Valve Index Headset or follow this video to work on your lens. Parts are a bit harder to find so we'll have to see what is damaged.

Technically it can be done but risk of contamination with environmental debris, this explains the use of clean rooms in headset assembly factories.

Generally, the display screen, eye tube and lens housing are bonded with adhesive to provide a water resistant sealed unit. Small variations require calibration after headset assembly to ensure optimum performance and user comfort.

It possible to replace the entire unit (one for each eye) with relative ease providing you have access to tools and some disassembly information.

Hi,

Assuming the damage is only to the lens, you can repair this by replacing the affected (left or right) eye tube assembly.
