Are they charged? What happens when you plug the case into a charger (with the AirPods in it)?

The AirPods or the case must have come to the end of its life because AirPods batteries don’t last forever and are hard to repair. I would buy replacements from eBay or the right pod, a company that specializes in AirPods replacements cuz they are impossible to repair.

You may have to re-pair them to your iPhone. Push the button in the back and hold it till it turns white. Make sure your Bluetooth is on and the AirPods are charged.
