Dear Harold in ignition switch also have steering wheel lock which not allow to key out of ignition until it's locked completely.

These switches are common failures, but tilt columns also suffer from binding in the column and the gear that the ignition switch turns. Attached below is my YouTube video on changing the turn signal switch, but it also shows how to remove the ignition assembly and how to take the steering column apart. With it apart you can inspect all the moving parts, lubricate the gear and ignition switch housing.
