No one can hear me...

Hi,

• Is the phone in a protective case at all?

If so remove it from the case and check if you can be heard OK when using the phone on a call. The case may be blocking the microphone's voice inlet hole found on the bottom edge of the phone.

• Try using headphones with a microphone attachment plugged into the headphone socket of the phone when making a call and check if you can be heard OK. Alternatively try using the phone in loudspeaker mode (aka hands free mode) and check.

If you still can't be heard then there is a problem with the voice transmission circuitry in the phone. The phone would have to be opened and the problem further diagnosed as to what is causing it.

If you can be heard OK then there is a problem with the phone's internal microphone or perhaps the single voice inlet hole on the bottom edge of the phone may be blocked with dust or lint etc. Do not use a pin or probe to try and clear the hole, as you may damage the microphone which is behind the hole. Try clearing the hole by using a vacuum cleaner to get any possible debris out of the hole. If still no good the phone will have to be opened and the microphone checked etc.
